JUDGE GRANTS HOWARD FISH BAIL AFTER TAKING DYNAMITE ON BOARD AN AIRPLANE

HOUSTON, TX—Pampered and preppy college student Howard Fish, 21 was granted bail by a federal judge in Houston Monday after he was arrested for carrying dynamite, blasting caps and explosives purportedly packed in a soda bottle filled with muddy water packed in his luggage on an international flight from Argentina to the United States.

Fish was arrested Friday after bomb-sniffing dogs at the Houston airport detected the explosives. His father Howard Senior defended young Fish's actions by saying that it was all a big mistake. Daddy Howard told a federal judge on Monday that young Howard “is a boy who wouldn't hurt anyone.”

Fish was released from custody on payment of a $7,500 bond fee.

I have learned that Fish is a member of the silver-spooned society that enjoys special privilege and prestige in this country. Hence the $7,500 bail to be released from custody for bringing explosive on board an airliner.

Fish (also called “Huck”) attended the prestigious Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey where he played on the schools Lacrosse team in April 2004.

Young Fish claims that the explosives were accidentally packaged in his luggage. He claims that they were souvenirs from his Bolivian silver mine tour that he took during his trip to Argentina.

Fish's explanation sounds--well-- fishy. For instance the dynamite was allegedly packed in a mud filled soda bottle, and placed in checked luggage, along with the accidentally packed blasting caps, and explosive powder.

Fish is charged with knowingly taking explosives on a US aircraft, which carries a possible 10-year sentence and a $250,000 fine. Two things are for certain-- one if terrorist John Walker Lindh would have had Howard Fish's money and prestige he probably would have never been convicted or sentenced. And, two—young Fish will probably not serve one day in prison for accidentally packing his explosives in his luggage.
