SENATOR ALLEN TRAPPED THE BROWN SKIN MONKEY
After Allen confronted Sidarth he instructed the crowd “Let's give a welcome to Macaca here. Welcome to America...”
While Allen, and his colleagues speak of the plight of the some 12 million illegal aliens who have come over the US-Mexico border, they, have ignored, and even attacked other cultures-many of them who have complied with all of the immigration laws to enter this Country.
Allen and his colleagues speak eloquently when proposing guest worker programs, and providing educational, health, and a general better way of life to 12 million illegal aliens who have crossed the US-Mexico border. However, when it comes to other cultures – especially to those cultures from India, and the Asian countries they ignore their contributions to America.
Sidarth – the young man that Allen welcomed to America is actually an American. Sidarth grew up in Fairfax, Virginia. He attends Senator Allen's alma matter (the University of Virginia) He is an American citizen. He graduated with a 4.1 GPA from Thomas Jefferson High School (as opposed to Allen's 2.5 GPA). he scored 1550 on his SAT.
If Senator Allen and Joseph Biden, and the Republican Party want to compare the contributions made by foreign cultures to America they should start with a comparison of the Indian-American immigrants versus the 12 million illegal aliens that have crossed the US-Mexico border.
52,000 Indian-American Medical Doctors
18,000 Indian-American medical students in US Schools
375,000 Indian-American workers in the US high tech field
17,000 Indian-American College Professors
1 Indian-American who died aboard the Shuttle Columbia when it exploded
Life in India is not easy. The country has struggled for years with economic disadvantages, and political problems – much as the Government of Mexico has. I have yet to read about any of its citizens – much less 12 million of them that have crossed into the United States illegally.
How many of the 12 million people in the United States illegally are medical doctors? How many are in medical school? How many of them work in the high tech fields/ How many college professors do we have crossing the US-Mexico border illegally?
When the Bush White House, and the GOP talk about helping the economically disadvantaged, they should consider helping the ones that will not only help themselves, but will also help America in some other area besides cheap labor.
We often hear remarks, and people making light of the Indian-American's working in our convenience stores, or gas stations. We call them “towel heads” and “rag heads.” We tell tall tales about these people coming to our country and borrowing money at a very low interest rate, and then monopolizing this industry or that industry. Who hasn't heard of an Indian-American Patel who owns and operates a motel?
But the fact is that these brown skin monkey people that Allen makes reference to are some of the hardest workers in American culture. They come to this Country and assimilate. Their children attend our schools without the need for massive English as a Second Language Programs at taxpayer expense. They don't have children, and take advantage of our welfare systems. They work, and pay taxes. They educate their children so that they can go on to become make a positive contribution to the United States. They don't have street gangs, or Mafia's that run the streets. I have yet to see an Indian-American day laborer.
Indian-American's come to this country legally, and work hard to instill concrete morals and values in their children. They take what work is available, because they see all work as honorable.
Allen, Biden, and other GOP leaders feel that the invasion across the US-Mexico border is a good thing for this country. Most American's aren't really familiar with Allen, and are just marginally aware of the annoying Senator Biden, but their Senatorial voting records speak for them.
Its all about big business for Allen and Biden. About 89% of Allen's PAC (Political Action Committee) contributions have come from big business who want cheap Mexican labor. Allen has consistently voted for more guest worker visas to countries who are participating in NAFTA and CAFTA. He expressed his disdain for hiring more immigration investigators in the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Bill for 2007 when he voted against the bill that would have added 800 immigration investigators to Homeland Securities arsenal.
Senator George Allen singled out Sidarth as the dark skinned Indian monkey. Welcomed him to America, and inferred that this was what was wrong with America. Allen never once said anything about the millions of illegal aliens coming across the US-Mexico border each year. The ones that overrun our emergency rooms and force them to close. He never mentions the fact that illegal aliens crossing the US-Mexico border account for 35% of the US prison population.
Senator George Allen is what is wrong with America. He, and his colleagues have single handedly given away our Country, and want to sacrifice what small freedoms that we enjoy. It is sad that it may take a brown skin monkey like Sidarth to save the United States.
