Will the Health Reform Bill Become A Joke?

Gentle readers within this American Chronicle, the "Public Option" is important for honest health care reform within your United States. Without it, your health care bill will become simply a list of rules and regulations easily broken and discarded. History has proven this to be true. The discarded bank regulations leading to the current economic melt down is a good example of political and corporate manipulation; and the E.P.A. transformation from friend to enemy is another. The Environmental Protection Agency became a string puppet for the last Republican government where many E.P.A. rules and regulations were ignored or discarded or simply changed to benefit those in power. Don't let that happen to the health reform bill or the word "reform" will become a joke...>

When we started this fight, some people were skeptical. We drew a line in the sand, and told skeptics that inclusion of a public option was the only way to have affordable healthcare reform. We told them that competition from the choice of a public option would decrease the cost of premiums and increase the quality of service.
We were right.

Senator Bayh has repeatedly stated that he wants to see a healthcare bill that reduces the deficit rather than raising it. Over the past few weeks, reports from the Congressional Budget Office have stated that a robust public option tied to Medicare rates would lower the price-tag of healthcare reform by $110 billion.
