Day 4,5,6 Lamberts Bay to Bakkrans in the Cederberg

1-hour 4x4 drive to Bakkrans, a private nature reserve. A visit to Bakkrans is very far removed from your everyday tourist fare. The 4 houses are traditionally thatched, stone-walled veld cottages, built with materials that were mostly obtained from the reserve. The cottages have been furnished to reflect the lifestyle of herders, who stayed in this area during a bygone Cape frontier era. In all, the accommodation here is unpretentious, but comfortable with "en suite" flush toilet, gas operated shower with crisp white linen.
