In some developing countries in the world, the main reason most individuals do not consult a doctor or go in search of medical attention is because it is too costly. So what happens as a result?

Those individuals who really need medical attention and do not get it, suffer in silence, tolerate the pain and or usually encounter an early trip to the grave. But when it was recently observed that an eleven year old girl from Weston, Wisconsin died of untreated diabetes, some persons must have wondered how could this happen.

Apparently and according to various news sources, the last time the girl saw a doctor was when she was around three years old. Since she had been generally healthy most of her life, her parents, who are devoutly religious, did not see the need for her to have annual medical check ups.

So she, the girl, died of diabetes no one knew she had. Her parents, Leilani and Dale Neumann, who claimed to have been putting their faith to the test, could get twenty five years if they are convicted.

According to an autopsy report, Madelaine, the eleven year old, had diabetic symptoms for months that went untreated and she died of having a small amount of insulin in her system or Ketoacidosis.
