I was having a problem logging into the American Chronicles article writing feature, and a small worry began creeping in! I've been disrupted in the past by Gale Norton, president Bush's minister of the interior. My web site was flooded with fifteen thousand copies of the same government email and it effectively closed me down. I had to start from scratch and it was only years later that I learned Norton's department had attacked dozens of non-profit environmental web sites. Apparently the Minister of the Interior had links with the Oil corporations.
Did I bear a grudge? Of course I did! I'm an Italian, Canadian, and I use the Internet. I did plenty to help change the balance of power in the United States government. Gale Norton and her Oil affiliated entourage were exposed and She resigned from her post. Unfortunately, the two top Republican leaders whom I suspect of creating the anti-environment philosophy within the White House, continue to push their unwanted agenda on the world! They continue to pose a threat to the freedom of the press! The surprising question now is, why are the Democrats posing the same threat?
I am grateful that many of my articles have been accepted by American Chronicles but I can't help wonder if the facts are honestly finding their way to Web readers? Have I been stepping on too many political and corporate toes? For example, I was just about to write an article exposing the fact that Senator's: McCain, Clinton and Obama are all in aggreement for the "Cap and Trade" system. A system whereby companies creating pollution can buy credits from companies not creating pollution. The reason both Republican and Democratic presidential candidates are all on this same page is basically because they all took large amounts of campaign funds from the Oil companies. In other words, no matter who you elect to be your President of the United States, the Energy Corporations will have expensive lobyist privilege within the govenment of the United States! Nothing will change and the status quo will remain comfortable for the present top corporate leaders. This will mean that people like Carl Pope of the Sierra Club, will be in court for years into the future attempting to save the environment. The question is, do I want to spend the rest of my life fighting to stop polluters from polluting? Yeah, I guess I do! O.K.! Put your fists up you S.O.B's!
The only presidential candidates who refused to co-operate with Cap and Trade, are Senators Mike Gravel and Ron Paul. They both believe in taxing the polluters directly and because of this belief, they have been left out of the corporate controlled Media spotlight. Interesting, isn't it?
Senators Mike Gravel and Ron Paul are not listed as having accepted money from the Oil corporations, but if you follow the Oil money, you will see how all the other presidential candidates accepted money. Are Senator's Gravel and Paul still in the presidential race? It is difficult to ascertain because your trusted well paid "Media" is not reporting on these two presidential candidates.
This computer link will show you who took the most money from the oil corporations and who took the least amount of money during this presidential election campaign. Prepare to be hurt and humiliated!
